As construction of the Vancouver Innovation, Technology and Arts Elementary School came to a close last year, it’s no surprise the new building’s presence turned some heads.

With a striking modern façade and integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, the school stands out in comparison to the age of the nearby Fort Vancouver Historic Site.
