Washington Trust Bank recently announced the addition of Phil Czajka to its commercial banking team in Southwest Washington as vice president and relationship manager. Czajka has worked in commercial banking in Southwest Washington for more than a decade. Czajka earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in psychology at Oregon State University, where he is a guest lecturer in finance and accounting. Czajka also volunteers with numerous community and professional organizations.

Educational Service District 112 has welcomed Susan Barker as its newest board member. Barker, a retired educator and school administrator, will represent District 1, which includes Green Mountain, La Center, Kalama, and Woodland school districts, and parts of Battle Ground and Kelso school districts. Barker’s career in K-12 education began in 1975 as a teacher in the Yakima School District. Most recently, Barker was superintendent of the Castle Rock School District from 2008 to 2016. Barker is also a board member for Columbia Wellness, Cowlitz County’s mental health agency.
