Clark County Sheriff’s Office investigates fatal collision in Brush Prairie

One person was killed in a fatal vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Brush Prairie.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark County Fire District 3 and American Medical Response responded around 3 a.m. to the 13600 block of N.E. 182nd Avenue in Brush Prairie regarding a vehicle collision with a pedestrian, according to a police press release.

Responders found the deceased pedestrian in the roadway. Police say the person killed may have been riding a bicycle prior to the collision.

The driver involved in the incident was not injured and remained at the scene.

The deceased was not identified, pending information from the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The sheriff’s office traffic unit is investigating.
