Letter: Bus stops are misplaced

By Shawn Pidcock, VANCOUVER

I have been noticing all the bus stops they are installing on Mill Plain Boulevard. Who decided that it was a good idea to put these only about 25 feet from the intersection? When a bus stops there, it will back up traffic into the intersection causing jams and buildup. Why didn’t they at least make them with a pull-in so the bus is out of a driving lane? Doesn’t seem like a lot of thought was put into the placement.
