Letter: Support Washougal levy

By Mimi Latta, Washougal
Published: March 31, 2023, 6:00am

I tutor students at Washougal High. The Washougal School District is asking us to vote yes on the replacement levy that will help our kids.

I worked in retirement planning. It’s important to invest for the future. Our kids’ success and futures depend on us. Just as we cheer and raise money for our district’s sports teams, we should also cheer and support their scholastic success. Our votes impact those who will take over from us. Vote “yes” on the April levy.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
