FELIDA — The nonprofit Extrapelvic Not Rare hosted “The VIEW 5K” on April 23 at Klineline Pond and Salmon Creek Trail to raise awareness about endometriosis. Executive Director Wendy Bingham teamed with a Columbia River High School senior, Sara Flindt, to bring awareness and education about endometriosis, which affects a lot of women but is not widely discussed. The event included information about the disease, personal impacts, implications to society and chronic underinvestment through a series of informative displays along a 5 kilometer self-paced walking route.
