Letter: Buses best for Clark County

I’m currently enjoying travels in Europe. With the exception of a few, very few, major cities in the U.S., I think most traveled people would agree that Europe completely outclasses the U.S. for public transportation in every conceivable way. Subways and light rail systems are fantastic but only workable if a thorough and far-reaching infrastructure is in place. Sadly, the reality is that Clark County will never have a fully developed system. Therefore, it makes more sense to put our scarce resources toward a system capable of serving more people, more often and over a wider area and that means buses.
