9 more added to Clark County primary ballots as filing week continues

Filing week for spots on city councils, school boards and more across Clark County continued Thursday with another nine candidates added to local ballots by 5 p.m.

Cities

John Svilarich joined the ballot, running for the at-large position on the Camas City Council.

Up north, two new candidates — Linda Tracy and Elizabeth Cerveny — filed for the La Center City Council’s Position 5 seat.

Gabe Huston filed for the Position 5 seat on the Woodland City Council.

In Yacolt, City Councilman Ian Shealy will run for the town’s mayor.

Schools

Terry Tate filed to challenge Battle Ground Public Schools board vice president Mark Watrin for the district’s Director 4 seat.

In the La Center School District, Shannon Cluphf will run for the District 4 board seat. Eric Lindberg filed to retain La Center’s District 5 board seat.

Sarah Stuart filed to retain Woodland Public Schools’ District 1 board spot.
