Pam Walden recently opened a tasting room in The Grant House at 1101 Officers Row to showcase wine from her Portland-based winery Willful Wine.

The space will be open for terroir-driven wines, including award-winning Pinot Noir sold by the flight, the glass, or the bottle every day from noon to 8 p.m. starting Wednesday.

The tasting room includes the bar and outdoor patio area. Chef Risa Lichtman of Lepage Food & Drinks created the seasonal Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring harissa roasted carrot and labne salad sprinkled with pistachio dukkah, house smoked trout nicoise salad, and a cheese and charcuterie plate with cheeses from Cowbell Cheesemonger in Portland.

Events including live jazz will be posted on the website, willfulwine.com.
