Letter: Support Orange for port

By Hector Hinojosa, FRUIT VALLEY
Published: November 2, 2023, 6:00am

Don Orange has poured his heart and soul into our Port of Vancouver. He helped shine a big bright light onto the backroom dealings of previous commissioners and Tesoro Corporation.

Under the current commission, the Port of Vancouver has steadily increased revenue, moved forward in a climate action plan, increased port throughput in new business and is focused on attracting higher-tech business.

Orange’s integrity is one of the reasons for success at the Port of Vancouver. I encourage everyone to vote to reelect Don Orange. Indeed, The Man with Appeal.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
