Letter: Vote for a better future

Too many times in voting we have to pick which candidate is going to do the least damage in the way of taxes and regulation. But now we have a real candidate that has made businesses more profitable by eliminating waste.

Semi Bird knows the importance of good stewardship, the responsible management of what is entrusted in him. His background speaks for itself. Semi realizes that unnecessary regulation hurts the economic spirit and the development of new homes not being built because of the added cost. Overregulation and overtaxation diminishes the quality of life of the poor and the middle class.

With Semi as governor we have a real chance to put common sense back into government and a real candidate that will build a future for the benefit of all Washingtonians. If the ones that desire to have the freedom and prosperity that the hardworking people in this state deserve, we need to pull together and put the one in Olympia that is not seeking power but has a quest for making Washington state the best place to live. That one is Semi Bird (birdforgovernor.com).

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
