Greg Jayne was right on with his column regarding assault weapons (“Reagan was woke on assault weapons,” The Columbian, Oct. 8). The people that don’t want these weapons removed from our society because it violates the Second Amendment should read it and also remember when it was written these weapons did not exist.
The mass shootings in this country are horrid and need to be stopped. If you agree, please contact your representative to let them know how you feel.
