CAMAS — Members of 100 Women Who Care Clark County presented $6,400 to I Paw’d It Forward at their fourth meeting of 2023, held Nov. 8 at Salud! Wine Bar in Camas. President Keri-Lyn Jakubs accepted the funds on behalf of the animal welfare organization. The local giving circle selected I Paw’d It Forward at its August meeting.

I Paw’d It Forward provides services including tracking and trapping services for lost and feral dogs, lost/found social media deployment services, transport services for finders of lost pets, chip scanning, pet licensing, a searchable lost/found pet database, and a free pet registration database. Jakubs indicated that the donated funds would be used to support the organization’s work with raptors and other birds.

Founded in 2018, 100 Women Who Care Clark County is a giving circle that meets four times a year and has donated close to $100,000 to local nonprofits since its inception. Members who attend are eligible to nominate local nonprofits to be considered for the group’s donation. Members commit to a quarterly $100 donation to the charity voted upon by the members at each meeting.
