The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants to serve as the city’s volunteer representative on the Clark County Mosquito Control District Board of Trustees. The deadline to apply is Dec. 27.

The board consists of 10 members — one from each city in Clark County and three by the county councilors — who serve two-year terms. Applicants must live within Vancouver city limits and also be available to participate in a virtual interview with the Vancouver City Council on a date to be determined.

Regular board of trustees meetings occur at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of February, May, August and November.
