Letter: Support Perkel for city council

By John Oberg, VANCOUVER
Published: October 5, 2023, 6:00am

Passion. Dedication. Energy. Commitment. This is what describes Leah Perkel, candidate for Vancouver City Council, Position 6, to a T.

As a former chair for the Clark County Democrats, community activist, and concerned citizen, I’ve personally witnessed Leah’s zeal for helping Vancouver and its people. Leah Perkel is a working-class candidate who recognizes that the issues of housing affordability, climate change and more affect all of us. She sees development as part of the growth of Vancouver but knows it should always be people over developers. This November, vote Leah Perkel, your choice for positive change.
