3A GSHL Football: Kelso 51, Heritage 0

Aden Mintonye rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns as Kelso rolled to a 51-0 win over Heritage on Friday at McKenzie Stadium.

Laurence Bostic added 61 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Hilanders tallied 358 yards on the ground. Mason Hanson also added a rushing touchdown and 75 yards on six carries.

One week after opening Class 3A Greater St. Helens League plays with a 36-33 loss to Prairie on the game’s final play, Kelso (2-4, 1-1) had control throughout Friday’s games.

Mintonye had rushing touchdowns of 28 and 24 yards in the first quarter. Easton Marshall then hauled in a 22-yard touchdown pass from Tucker Amrine as the Hilanders led 23-0 after the first quarter.

Kelso outgained Heritage 368-79 in the first half, which ended with the Hilanders ahead 44-0.

Jaxon Sharp had 51 yards on three catches for Heritage (0-6, 0-1)
