BRUSH PRAIRIE — Neighbors in Brush Prairie say they are nervous about a gas facility in the works on the edge of their residential community.

National gas supplier Airgas is set to begin building a distribution center at Northeast 131st Street and state Highway 503.

The facility will “fill and store inert, oxidizer and flammable gases in high pressure and liquid cylinders,” according to pre-planning documents submitted to Clark County in October 2022.
