A Woodland man and a Portland man were killed in a head-on crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 5 in Salmon Creek.
Washington State Patrol troopers responded at 1:45 a.m. to Milepost 8, near the junction where Interstate 205 merges with I-5.
The two vehicles came to rest fully blocking the northbound lanes. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, the news release states.
The State Patrol had not released the drivers’ names as of Monday morning, pending next of kin notification.
