Letter: Columnist is wrong again

By William Robison, Ridgefield

Jay Ambrose is still the man who has never been right about anything, he just makes even less sense now. His column on Oct. 10 (“GOP must take on Dems,” The Columbian) was so disjointed, convoluted and confused as to raise questions about whether it was intended as serious commentary, humor or sarcasm.

Was the Democratic Party supposed to rescue McCarthy from the crazies in his own party for some reason? What was the reason? Did that duty fall on them because the GOP can’t get anything right or because the Democrats can’t? Who knows? I guess poor Jay has just fallen down the rabbit hole with the rest of the GOP.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
