Letter: Support Brent for port

By Michael and Ann Donnelly, Vancouver
Published: October 19, 2023, 6:00am

Russell Brent is ideally qualified to earn our vote for Port of Vancouver commissioner. He has 40 years of experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry and 20 years of community-building experience. He worked on the capital campaign for the Confluence project, served on boards such as Clark College Foundation, and helped fund the Tod and Maxine McClaskey Culinary Institute.

He chaired the advisory committee for the Cascadia Technical Academy and is past chair of the Northwest Wine and Food Society. He will lead on waterfront and Terminal 1 development. His approach is solidly bipartisan.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
