Trico football: La Center 51, Columbia-White Salmon 6

Johnny Linstroth returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and Isaac Chromey had three first-half touchdowns as La Center rolled to a 51-6 win over Columbia-White Salmon at home on Friday.

Linstroth brought the opening kickoff back 82 yards for a touchdown. Chromey then added touchdown runs of 2, 20 and 10 yards.

La Center’s offensive line dominated, opening the way for the Wildcats to rush for 276 yards. Chromey finished with 115 yards and Jalen Ward added 127 yards.

The Wildcats then rewarded their lone senior lineman by allowing Ryan Kawalek to score a 4-yard touchdown run, helping La Center build a 34-6 halftime lead.

La Center will travel to Castle Rock next Friday in hopes of wrapping up another Trico League title.
