Letter: Support Orange for port

By Ronald Morrison, Vancouver
Published: October 21, 2023, 6:00am

The Port of Vancouver is a place of unique complexity. It is a “nonprofit” that works in a competitive “for profit” environment, while being a taxing entity too. During Don Orange’s five-plus years as Vancouver port commissioner he has looked, listened, and been engaged in all of this. This makes him far better qualified to deal with it, and represent us, than he was when first elected. I will be voting for Don Orange for Port of Vancouver commissioner. I encourage you to do so, too.
