How Clark County College Football Players Fared: Victor sets WSU record with 16 catches

Union High grad show's he's fully recovered from ankle injury

It’s safe to say Lincoln Victor is completely back from his ankle injury.

The senior from Union High School caught a school-record 16 passes in Washington State’s 38-24 loss to Oregon on Saturday in Eugene.

Though he didn’t find the end zone, Victor caught passes of 37, 20, 19, 15 and 14 yards for 166 yards on the day.

Victor suffered a high ankle sprain in a Sept. 23 game against Oregon State. He returned to the starting lineup Oct. 14, making four catches for 19 yards.

But Saturday, Victor was in prime form. He found opening’s in Oregon’s defense, especially when quarterback Cam Ward was forced out of the pocket.

“That is Cam’s safety net,” WSU head coach Jake Dickert said of Victor. “You can see it and you can feel the real connection. For him to go out there and make plays, he’s gutted through this high-ankle (injury). Just really proud of that kid, and I think he means a lot to our offense.”

Here’s how other collegiate football players from Clark County  at four-year programs fared. Note: A blank entry means the player’s team had a bye week.
