Letter: Support Dabasinskas in Camas

By Douglas Tweet, Camas

Stephen Dabasinskas is amply qualified for Camas City Council. With his background as a private business consultant and instructor of budgeting and finance for the U.S. Department of Defense, he will bring much-needed fiscal expertise to Camas. I was impressed with his remarks at city council meetings expressing concerns about the excessive use of overpriced consultants with nebulous “scope of work.” He also has a strong law enforcement background, having been a patrol officer and detective, as well as task force commander for a narcotics task force. I am confident Dabasinskas will prioritize both public safety and fiscal responsibility.
