Clark County Sheriff John Horch is hosting a town hall next week in Camas to update residents about the agency.
The town hall will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lacamas Lodge, at 227 N.E. Lake Road.
The sheriff and other agency administrators will talk about the status of the body-worn camera program, regional training academy, staffing efforts and crime trends in the area. One of the agency’s instructors will also give a demonstration on less-lethal tactics, according to a news release.
This will be the third of the sheriff’s town halls, following events in Salmon Creek and Battle Ground.
