Non-League Football: Camas 35, Kelso 23

Titan Brody rushed for 163 yards on just 13 carries as the visiting Papermakers used big plays to keep Kelso at bay.

Brody broke loose for a 33-yard touchdown run that gave Camas a 21-10 lead the 4:51 left in the second quarter.

That came after Trenton Swanson hauled in a 79-yard touchdown from backup QB Grady Milholen to put the Papermakers ahead 14-7 late in the first quarter.

Camas stretched the lead to 27-10 when Jake Davidson hit Anthony Forner for a 44-yard touchdown pass with 1:53 left in the third quarter.

Kelso countered on the next drive when Easton Marshall hauled in a 65-yard touchdown pass. But the Papermakers put the game away with Beau Harlan’s 6-yard touchdown run with 2:12 to play.

Swanson finished with a game-high nine catches for 156 yards. Forner had 89 yards on four catches.

Davidson finished with 207 yards on 15 for 31 passing with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
