Houston Coyle rushed for three touchdowns, threw for another and returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown as the Wildcats won on the road.

Coyle also had an interception on defense.

Parker McKinney intercepted a pass at the 1-yard line in the second quarter. The Wildcats then drove 99 yards with McKinney capping the drive with a 21-yard catch to put La Center ahead 21-7.

Coyle scored on a 5-yard run with 10 seconds left in the first half to put La Center ahead 28-13.

Connell scored on its first two drives of the second half to tie the game 28-28 with 2:59 left in the third quarter.

But La Center responded with a touchdown that was set up by 59-yard run by Isaac Chromey on the first play from scrimmage.

Coyle the sealed the win with a 27-yard touchdown run after his interception got the Wildcats the ball back.
