Letter: Jesus shows us the way

There is much evidence, including well-documented key evidence supporting the resurrection of Jesus, lending strong credibility to who he said he was … the Son of God (“Letter sparks disagreement,” Our Readers’ Views, March 23). He came among us as a humble servant preaching love for God and one another, teaching and commanding us to do the same.

Jesus said, “You will have pain and suffering in this world, and you will die, but fear not, I have conquered pain and suffering and death, and so will you, and I will be with you through it all.”

If the Jesus story wasn’t true, surely it would have been disproved by now, over 2,000 years later. Many have come to believe while trying to disprove. Over 2 billion Christians worldwide believe.

This Easter (resurrection) season, let us be humbly grateful for the greatest gift ever given, and the promise of eternal life for each and everyone of us. Truly, Jesus Christ was God the Son become man to save us, to show us the way, the truth and the life.
