WASHOUGAL — Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing, is embarking on a new home-building project in Washougal.

“Our team at Evergreen Habitat for Humanity is delighted to announce the commencement of our new home build project in Washougal,” said Josh Townsley, Habitat’s CEO. “This endeavor is a meaningful step forward as we continue our mission of providing stable and affordable housing solutions for families in Clark County.”

The new home, planned and constructed to meet the needs of a single family, is located just off H Street. Through the dedication of volunteers, donors and community partners, this project aims to create a safe environment where the home’s owners can build a stable future.

This initiative also serves as part of Evergreen Habitat for Humanity’s goal of assisting 100 homebuyers within the next three years.

Evergreen Habitat for Humanity invites the community to join its efforts through volunteer opportunities, donations or spreading the word. For information, visit https://www.ehfh.org.
