Letter: Turn away from ungodliness

For many years now we, the United States, have been sowing (planting) liberal ideology and ungodliness, as abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, lying, taking God’s name in vain, divorce, stealing, drunkenness, etc. Now we are reaping what we have sown.

Now we see that some of our homegrown terrorists are blocking roads because they know they will mostly get away with it, because so many thugs have gotten away with things that by rights they should be in prison for. We have removed the best guide for peaceful and prosperous living, the Bible, from our lives. Now we are seeing the results.

In the Bible, in Galations 6:7, it says, “Be not be deceived; God is not mocked: whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” If we keep going down the road of ungodliness we will have more problems. 2 Timothy 3:12-13 says: “All who live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” Psalm 121: 1, 2 tell us: “My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

Unless we turn back to God, and away from our ungodliness, we will most likely be destroyed by our government going bankrupt.
