Foreign aid is becoming a central issue in the race for Southwest Washington’s 3rd Congressional District.

President Joe Biden on Wednesday signed into law a long-sought package of aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

The bill was modeled after the $66 billion Defending Borders, Defending Democracies Act that Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Skamania, co-introduced in February.
