Letter: Chaos because we are ungodly

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”

Those wise words were written about 3,000 years ago but they are just as true today. We are seeing chaos and destruction here in the United States and all over the world, because we have the most ungodly president that we’ve ever had. Besides all the executive actions President Joe Biden did as soon as he was inaugurated, his complete debacle in leaving Afghanistan in such a rush was the one of the first serious international disasters he created. He has demonstrated weakness and incompetence all over the world and on our southern border. May God help us if he is reelected this year.

I believe these bad things are happening to us because we have become so ungodly. If abortion (murder) is OK, against one of God’s Ten Commandments, what about the other ones: Is it OK to hurt and kill each other, steal, lie, commit adultery, etc.? God gave us these Ten Commandments to protect us so we could have safe and prosperous lives. Now we have turned against them and are headed to complete chaos.
