Letter: Support Battle Ground school levy

By Amy Fredericks, Vancouver
Published: February 2, 2024, 6:00am

Battle Ground Public Schools is asking for the community’s support to increase security and facilitate much-needed repairs of its buildings. If passed, the Feb. 13 capital levy will allow Battle Ground Public Schools to install entry controls and security cameras, repair roofs, and upgrade heating and cooling systems. It will also create learning spaces for the construction trades and update technology throughout the district.

Battle Ground Public Schools is not asking for more money. The levy would take the place of a bond that expired at the end of 2023. Please vote yes for the children of Battle Ground Public Schools.
