Clark County sheriff’s deputies are searching for multiple utility trailers they say were stolen by one suspect over the past year.

Detectives say a man using the aliases WebbJJ, Joshua James and Joshua J. Webb has been selling trailers on social media in the Portland metro area and Southwest Washington. He has ties to addresses in Gresham, Ore., and Battle Ground, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Investigators have arrested him in connection with several trailer thefts, but they’re continuing to investigate. He has been known to forge titles and other paperwork when selling the trailers, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies have linked him to a lifted white 2011 Ram full-size pickup with blue lighting under the truck and front wheel well. They also linked him to a tan full-size Chevrolet/GMC SUV, also lifted with black wheels. The sheriff’s office said he’s used these vehicles to steal the trailers.

Anyone who believes they purchased a trailer from this suspect or has information about the trailer thefts is asked to contact Detectives Dan Brown and Elijah Page at dan.brown@clark.wa.gov and elijah.page@clark.wa.gov.
