Towering wooden shelves create a maze at Vintage Books in Vancouver.

Here, you’ll find everything from cloth-covered Nancy Drew books to automotive manuals, as well as two cats curled up behind the front counter. This charming and eclectic selection have helped Vintage Books persevere for almost 50 years in Vancouver, throughout the rise of Amazon, e-books and chain bookstores.
