Vancouver police increased traffic enforcement over the New Year holiday weekend, but officers did not make any DUI arrests New Year’s Eve, according to the agency.
During increased patrols Dec. 29-31, officers conducted 47 traffic stops, arrested five people on suspicion of DUI, arrested six people for other crimes and issued 44 citations for other traffic infractions, according to a Vancouver police news release.
