Letter: Support Battle Ground school levy

By Terry Dotson, Vancouver
Published: January 23, 2024, 6:00am

I am in support of the capital levy for Battle Ground Public Schools. It’s important that our students have a good, safe learning environment. This levy will improve safety, security, HVAC, roofs and provide for much-needed upgrades to technology.

In addition, it will provide a building and additional space for students to learn culinary, health sciences and construction trades. These spaces would help students to be prepared for real-world jobs when they graduate. Today’s students could be your employees at your business. Our children need your “Yes” vote.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
