WASHOUGAL — The Washougal School District Board of Directors is seeking applications to fill its District 2 position, which is vacant following former board director Angela Hancock’s resignation last month.

School board directors are unpaid positions that help shape policy and guide district leadership.

Applicants must live and be a registered voter within the boundaries of Washougal’s District 2, which includes most of the school district north of the Washougal River. The appointment will last through November 2025; the eventual appointee will also be able to run for reelection.

The application deadline is Aug. 27.

For more information about the position, residency requirements and application process, contact Kori Kelly at 360-954-3014 or kori.kelly@washougalsd.org. Interested applicants can apply online on the district’s website at https://washougal.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=4264.
