Visual and performing artists are needed for The Vancouver Arts & Music Festival from Aug. 2-4 in Esther Short Park. The event features multiple stages, juried art shows, pop-up galleries, dance performances, family activities, food vendors and performances by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

The festival’s juried art show offers cash prizes. Artists can submit applications through June 30 and will be notified by July 15. Registration costs range from $30 to $60.
Artists can also apply to be vendors, selling original art or offering art demonstrations. Two types of spaces are available: artists who have been selected for the juried show (deadline to apply: June 30; cost: $300 for one booth or $500 for two) and artists not in the art show (deadline to apply: April 15; cost: $50 for a 10-by-10 booth or $85 for a 10-by-20 booth).
Musicians, dancers, storytellers and performing artists can apply for free through March 31 and will be notified in April. All performing artists will be compensated.
