Prep Highlights: Kolten Gesser, Lucas Peterson combine on no-hitter for Seton Catholic baseball

Cougars open season with 6-0 win over Washougal

Kolten Gesser and Lucas Peterson combined on a no-hitter as the Seton Catholic baseball team beat Washougal 6-0 on Monday at Harmony Sports Complex.

Gesser struck out seven over four innings with one walk. Peterson fanned five over three innings.

Teddy Wieczorek went 2 for 4 with a triple and an RBI for Seton.

Cooper Schneider, Camas boys soccer, scored two goals as the Papermakers opened their season with a 3-1 win over Mountain View.

Marcos Tobar Martinez and Pablo Sanchez Barbosa, Heritage boys soccer, each scored two goals in a 7-0 season-opening win over La Center.

Leon Le, Kelso baseball, went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBI in a 9-6 win over Camas.

Brady Davis, Skyview baseball, went 1 for 1 with three runs and three walks as Skyview rallied for a 7-5 win over Prairie.

Grace Johnson, Camas softball, went 3 for 3 with a double, two runs and two RBI in a 13-0 win over Hockinson.

Brynn Skelton, Woodland softball, went 3 for 4 with two runs and RBI in an 8-6 win over Heritage.

Reece Holmes, Hockinson baseball, struck out five and allowed three hits in four scoreless innings of pitching in a 10-0 win at Heritage.
