Letter: Trump is immoral and dangerous

Donald Trump now has enough delegates to be the Republican nominee for president. What does that say about Republicans? A man who cheated on his third wife with a porn star. A man who raped a woman and defamed her so much that a jury awarded her $83 million. A man who ginned up a mob to attack our nation’s Capitol and brutally beat up the Capitol Police force. The goal was to stop the peaceful transfer of power. A threat to our democracy. A man who stole several classified documents as souvenirs to show his club buddies. A man who repeatedly misrepresented the value of his properties to get more favorable loans. This fraud cost Trump over $350 million, and he was barred from doing business in New York for three years. A man who would stop Ukraine funding, which would give Putin a victory. A man who bragged about ending Roe v. Wade, which has cause numerous problems for many women. Now he is saying migrants are not people and that if he doesn’t get elected, there will be a “bloodbath.”

Well, Republicans, congratulations on nominating an immoral and dangerous man. What are they thinking? Some Republicans, to their credit, are not supporting this demagoguery, and they are saying so.
