Letter: Public health squanders credibility

With the fiasco of the federal government’s COVID efforts finally coming to light, how could the majority reticence for family vaccines not have been anticipated (“Putting off the poke,” Los Angeles Times, March 19)? The NIH/CDC took their public trust and have been proved to have purposely squandered it. Like the Democratic Party, good luck in reestablishing their credibility.
