Letter: Is this justice for all?

So a young man who has been detained for shoplifting candy bars, on the ground on his back, telling officers he is not going to resist, is stripped in public and a responding officer holds a Taser to his genitals.  And that is ruled to be acceptable procedure.

Meanwhile, the former president of these United States is appearing in both civil and criminal courts as he is charged with multiple felonies including fraud and sexual assault. Any consequences he has been assigned so far have essentially been ignored:  all this while running for another term as commander in chief.

Kind of breaks your heart for all those children who have spent their childhoods pledging allegiance to a promise of “justice for all.”
