Letter: County councilor is unfit

The Clark County Council voted to approve a new growth plan absent a vote by District 2 Councilor Michelle Belkot. This isn’t the first time she has failed to show up.

After being gerrymandered into council District 2 I took the first opportunity to vote against Ms. Belkot’s election to the council based on her previous campaign against funding for health care initiatives and public education. The latest in a long line of councilors who serve only their self-interest. She is unfit for this office and should resign.
