Letter: Support Oneil for utilities

By Judy Chipman, RIDGEFIELD
Published: October 4, 2024, 6:00am

I’m writing in support of James Oneil for public utilities commissioner. James will be an excellent commissioner and will serve District 1 and all of Clark County well in this role.

He is an excellent listener, an eager learner, and an active participant in many major events and groups in Clark County. He cares about the people that Clark Public Utilities serves and the needs they have for affordable electricity, not only today but far into the future. He supports the use of natural gas and the future use of small nuclear energy reactors which will be one of the cleanest, most affordable sources we can use in the future.

Vote for James and you will not regret your vote. He will do the job well and represent each one of us.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
