Joe Cryblskey, a Clark Public Utilities automated meter reading driver, uses a manual meter reader to look at customer usage, while covering his route in the Salmon Creek and Felida neighborhoods on Sept. 6. That particular meter was being taken apart for a new electrical panel, causing a failure reading for Cryblskey. Cryblskey said that he has to manually read about 10 meters throughout the day. Cryblskey, 34, has worked for the utility since he graduated high school.
