Silks and Charlie are sweet lap dogs and best friends who are looking for a home together. Silks, the lady in this power couple, is outgoing and bubbly. Charlie's quiet personality is so sweet. They grew up together and want to stay together in a home without kids younger than age 6. These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees -- which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination -- vary.
