Sammy is a shy, sweet 5-year-old who is looking for a new home. She would like to meet any kids she may be living with. Sammy enjoys attention, and we think she will warm up to her new family quickly. These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees -- which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination -- vary.
