Chester is looking for a home with no kids younger than age 10 and would like to meet any older kids in the home prior to adoption. This 11-year-old would like a slow intro to his new home because he can be a little shy. These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees -- which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination -- vary.
