State law enforcement group endorses Golik
Saturday, August 14, 2010
Vancouver — The Washington Council for Police and Sheriffs has endorsed Tony Golik for Clark County prosecuting attorney.
Jamie Daniels, executive director of the organization, said in a statement that the endorsement was made on behalf of 4,500 members and that Golik showed “continued support of public safety and law enforcement officers.” Golik is a deputy prosecutor assigned to major crimes.
He’s running on his tenure as a criminal trial lawyer against Vancouver senior assistant city attorney Brent Boger and Washougal defense attorney George Kolin. The top vote-getter will succeed long-time elected Prosecuting Attorney Art Curtis.
